Meet the Collections and Curators: Resilience- Black Heritage in St. Augustine

  • Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center 102 Martin Luther King Avenue St. Augustine, FL, 32084 United States (map)

Join Flagler College Archives on Thursday, April 15th at 1:00 P.M. for a virtual discussion from local cultural heritage professionals, who have come together for the Resilience project. Each institution involved has developed programming to highlight 455+ years of Black experiences found in their collections as an effort to tell a more complete story of the many contributions the African American community has made, and continues to make in the city of St. Augustine. These projects include virtual lectures and tours, exhibits, digital humanities projects, themed site tours, and the creation of educational resources which will be featured throughout 2021.
